Notes The RPS had a museum from c1890s available to members and the public, at its various premises in London. In 1980 it opened the National Centre of Photography at its premises in Milsom Street, Bath, which were closed c.2001. The Collection was sold and transferred to the National Museum of Photography Film and Television in Bradford in 2003. The move to the V&A Museum was announced in 2016 and physically moved in 2017. (Email from Michael Pritchard). Closure in 2001 seems reasonable based on this article which states that the packing up of the collection was already in progress at the end of that year:
Notes_internal DOMUS foundation year = 1963. Charity No. 1107831. Opened to public in 1980. Collection sold to National Media Museum in 2002. Assume closure date.
